Your Mission as CHRO

As the CHRO, you are a strategic and pragmatic sparring partner who knows exactly how to guide and help FRISS grow in line with our strategy. As a key member of the Leadership Team, you will be responsible for building the people strategy and agenda. You will make sure that we remain the employer of choice with a high employee engagement, and that we attract the best talent to achieve our growth objectives.  

As our culture builder, you will foster and embed our values, and continue to develop them as we grow. Together with the stakeholders, you will build and maintain strong people relationships across the business, helping to create and drive high-performing teams (200+ employees and growing).  

If you look back after one year at FRISS, what did you achieve?

  • You have partnered with the management team to build programs that scale the organization, grow strong and happy teams, and develop outstanding leaders.
  • You have had a clear and inspiring vision on People & Culture, which has guided the Management Team to achieve our key strategic objectives. 
  • You have designed and rolled-out the people strategy through the creation of a roadmap and yearly calendar which were aligned with our overall company strategy. This covered the entire Employee Journey (sourcing & recruiting, onboarding, learning & development, feedback & performance management, and compensation & benefits).
  • You have played a key role in the implementation of new initiatives and projects including workforce planning, talent retention, performance management, happy people and career development.
  • Thinking out-of-the-box and thinking about cultural changes within the organization are also aspects that have come to light in your role.  
  • You played a key role in M&A integration, realignment, and global HR projects.
  • You have effortlessly switched between the interests and needs of the organization, the employees, and managers, acting like a coach and trusted confidant 
  • You have ensured that any policies that we implement are at par with trends in the market. 
  • Your have led a team of 1 HRBP, 3 HR operations specialists, 1 L&D specialist and 2 Recruiters, ensuring that we have a strong team HR foundation, and that the has been able to develop and deliver to their full potential.

Who are you?

This is what we’re looking for:

  • Progressive leadership experience in human resource management, and especially in organizational transformation, and people happiness.
  • Key experience in scaleup and SaaS companies is a must.
  • Experience with Dutch labour law.
  • Strategic mindset and critical problem solver who isn’t afraid to be direct.
  • A high degree of integrity and honesty; ability to exercise confidentiality and neutrality in complex and unique situations.
  • Strong interpersonal communication, and leadership capabilities.
  • Adapt to changing business situations, comfortable working in high growth, fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strong influencing skills, who believes in onboarding people with the changes not just making changes.
